Cheesecake-stuffed strawberry appetizer

Ingredients:

-2 pounds strawberries

-8 ounces of cream cheese, softened

2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream

-1/4 cup powdered sugar

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 8 ounces blueberries (optional)

Instructions:

1. Wash berries, hull strawberries, slice in half and scoop out a little in the center of each.

2. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, whipping cream, powdered sugar and vanilla until well combined.

3. Arrange strawberry halves on a serving plate, and pat dry with paper towel.

4. Using a decorator or pastry bag, pipe a dollop of cream cheese mixture onto each strawberry.

5. Press 1 or 2 blueberries into cream cheese.

6. Refrigerate up to 12 hours until ready to serve.

7. Serve and enjoy!
